Glasco Sun, April 27, 1916, page 2:
Violett Marie, daughter of Golden and Ora Everley, was born Nov. 17, 1915, and died April 21, 1916, aged five months and four days. She was ill four weeks and everything that loving parents and kind friends could do with all watchful care and the skill of physicians was of no avail, and God who gave life and spirit to the little earth form, transferred it to his own kingdom to the land where no pain or sorrow can touch. The suffered she passed through was very severe and the lesson of patience taught the watchers was sublime.
A baby brother Albert preceded her to the better land, and the parents with two sisters, Vera and Vivian, and two brothers, Orval and Willis, are left to miss the darling. The funeral services were held at the Bethel church by Rev. Taylor assisted by Rev. Ward of Glasco. The pall bearers were the four girls who officiated at the funeral of Albert.
Thus our beloved ones go home
And bridge the gulf to God's white throne
Angelic bands to earth are given
And earth sends up her gems to heaven.
