Mr. Duester was the son of Charles and Sophia Czarniak Duester and was born in Duncan September 18, 1890. On September 22, 1936 he was married to Agnes Wreczarek in Ravenna.
The couple farmed near Wolbach, Elba and Rockville until retirement when they moved into Rockville.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Walter and Daniel of Rockville, Stanley of Juniata, one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Woltman of Omaha, seven grandchildren, three brothers, Frank of Grand Island, Otto of St. Paul and Louis of Omaha, three sisters, Mrs. Valeria Marshalek and Mrs. Elizabeth Szwanek of Elba and Mrs. Clara Brandenberger of Silver Creek.
