Mr. Hudson lived in Calaveras County nearly all of his life. He graduated from Calaveras High School in 1949. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as an appliance repairman for almost four decades, both for Middleton's in Altaville and self-employed.
He was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Angels Camp. Mr. Hudson was also a member of the Angels Boosters and enjoyed helping at the Frog Jump. He loved to fish with his sons at Lake Alpine and he loved the Chicago Cubs.
Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his twin brother, Lloyd Hudson, of Washington; brother, Charles Hudson, of Oregon; sister, Amelia Baker, of California; son, Joe Hudson, of Angels Camp; and wife, Bettsy Hudson, of Angels Camp.
