Mrs Maude Henderson, 75, of 706 E Oak St, West Frankfort, died early today in Union Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Carterville on Aug 31, 1891, the daughter of Marion Dougherty Allen and Louisa Walker Allen.
She had worked as a Sales Lady for the Fashion Shop in West Frankfort for 43 years and was a member of the Retail Clerks Union, First Christian Church, Georgianna Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star 635, Royal Neighbors, and Veterans of World War l Barracks 53 Auxiliary.
She leaves a sister, Mrs Arthur W Rogers of West Frankfort
A nephew, James A Rogers of Arlington, TX
Burial in Tower Heights Cemetery.
