Edward Joseph Maier, 69, of 1137 Reutlinger Ave., died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Louisville General Hospital.
He was a retired plasterer for Schnurr Brothers Plastering.
He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine "Sis" Kleinholter; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Schiller Avenue, and Kentucky Street, with burial in Saint Michael Cemetery. The body will be at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St., after 1 p.m. Monday.
