Mrs. Opal Louise Bokros, 68, joined her Lord in Heaven on July 6, 2011. Louise passed away at home after a two and a half year fight with cancer.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday, July 8, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 9am until the service Saturday, July 9th at 10 am at Star Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Star Baptist Cemetery in Star, MS.

A native of Lepanto, Arkansas, Louise was born November 29, 1942. She was the daughter of Oscar C. Doss and Opal E. Doss. She worked at Packard Electric/ General Motors/Delphi in Clinton, MS and retired after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Star Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bokros was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, George F. Bokros of Florence; two daughters, Karen F. Herman of Florence and Shelia C. Holder of Madison; step-children, Danny Bokros, Gary Bokros, Randal Bokros and Sandra Richardson; two brothers, Eugene Doss and Terry Doss of Cumberland, MS; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three nephews one niece, two aunts and many cousins.
