Lloyd T. Herron, 80, 529 Grand Ave., died Friday, February 17, at 5:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital.

Services will be held Saturday, February 18, at 4:00 p.m. in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lloyd Herron was born November 21, 1908, in Reno, Lamar County, a son of John Franklin Herron and Corrie Elizabeth Harris.

He attended schools at Mansfield and married Bonnie Pearl Thompson on December 26, 1933 in Paris.

He was owner of the Royal Barber Shop on Bonham Street, retiring in 1988, after 60 years of barbering.

He was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church and had been a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years.

Surviving are his wife; four daughters, all of Paris; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters.
