Services were held at the Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home chapel in Hayti Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Gertrude Anderson, 78, who died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 18. The Rev. Howard Ray conducted the funeral and burial was in East Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Dixon, Ky. on October 27, 1885.
She leaves her husband, Will Anderson, of Hayti; a son, Hillard Anderson, of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Coy Joyner of Elbridge, Tenn.; a brother, Joe Vaughn of Hayti; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
