Olive L. Wampler, 92, of Bloomington, died Wednesday at her residence.

Born Feb. 20, 1906, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the Rev. David and Laura (Langley) Barrow. She was a homemaker.

She had worked at RCA and at Indiana University Halls of Residence, and had provided domestic services for several prominent families in the community. She was a member of Mount Gilead Christian Church.

Survivors include five daughters, one sister, Pearl Hendricks of Bloomington; 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandson and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Wampler, in 1982; one son, Carl W. "Woody" Wampler, in 1954; an infant daughter, Frieda Pearl Wampler; four sisters, Emma VanDyke, Stella Myers, Ethel Robertson and Charlotte Barrow; six brothers, Wren Barrow, Mort Barrow, John Barrow, Shirley Barrow, James Barrow and Roy Barrow; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Gilead Christian Church with the Revs. Don Lincicome and Ronald Reinhardt officiating. Burial will be at Mount Gilead Cemetery.
