Daniel B. Ackerman of this city died suddenly on Friday afternoon at Rifton where he had gone to spend a few days. He was 80 years old. Mr. Ackerman was working was working in the garden when attacked. Dr. G. W. Ross of Port Ewen was summoned, but could do nothing for the sufferer. Mr. Ackerman owned considerable property in Rifton and St. Remy. The funeral will be held on Monday. Interment at St. Remy.

ACKERMAN-Suddenly, at Rifton, N. Y., May 8, 1914, Daniel B. Ackerman, aged 79 years. Services at the residence of his son, Elmer Ackerman, No. 78 Downs street, this city, at 1 o'clock and funeral at the St. Remy Reformed Church at 2:30 p. m., on Monday (May 12). Relatives and friends are invited. Interment at St. Remy Cemetery.
