Our loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, Priscilla Lane Blue Johnson, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 9, 2011, at her home near Ririe in an accident.

Priscilla was born October 24, 1939, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to Henry Leroy Blue and Era Mae Bodiford Blue. She grew up in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and moved to White Rock, New Mexico, as an adult, where she continued to live until 1980, when she moved to Idaho Falls. She participated in the Lamanite program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through Brigham Young University.

On November 10, 1978, she married Lamar John Johnson in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and also worked as a chemical technician for Los Alamos Laboratories and Forsgren Engineering in Rexburg.

Priscilla was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Relief Society President, in the Young Women, as a Primary teacher and visiting teacher. She served two full-time missions with her husband, one in Pocatello, Idaho, and another in Cape Town, South Africa. Priscilla enjoyed gardening, quilting, family history, and her family.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of nearly 33 years, Lamar, a daughter, Arlette Rinee (Eddis) Drayton of Draper, UT, three sons, Loren (DaNiel) Jose of Idaho Falls, ID; Spencer (Alecia) Johnson of Rigby, ID, and Scott (Emma) Johnson of Ririe, ID; three stepsons, Kevin (Darlene) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, Jared (Lynette) Johnson of New Market, MD, Quinn (Tabitha) Johnson of Columbia, MO; a stepdaughter, Michelle (Ray) Coleman of Sandy, UT; four brothers, Lavon (Betty) Blue, Bobby (Betty) Blue, Carson (Susan) Blue, and Harry (Debra) Blue; two brothers-in-laws, Ronald (Dixie) Johnson and Bruce (Martha) Johnson; two sisters, Patsy Sloat and Shirley (Eldon) Fransisco; a sister-in-law, Louise (Lavar) Newman; and 33 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mae Blue, her in-laws, Glen and Ellen Johnson, her grandfather, Chief Samuel Taylor Blue, and grandmother, Louise Canty Blue.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at the Ririe LDS Shelton Ward, 198 North 4300 East, with Bishop Danny Gene Ferguson officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls, and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
