Services for Thomas Benjamin "T.B." Banks, 90, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church in Temple.

Mr. Banks died Wednesday, June 29, at his home.

He was born on March 2, 1921, to Will and Martha Banks in LaGrange. He attended school in Bartlett. He served in the U.S. Army, 1942-46, during World War II. He worked for Belton Rockwool, Texas A&M University and Artco Bell, retiring in 1983. In 1957, he married Melvia L. Waits.

He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Thomas Earl Banks; a daughter, Gaylena Banks-Curtis; and a stepdaughter, Lora Crawford-Daniels.

Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Banks and Vickie Banks-Bradley, both of Temple; a stepdaughter, Frances Jackson of Temple; two stepsons, Johnnie Freeman of Belton and Melvin Freeman of Del Valley; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. today at W.H. Littles and Sons Mortuary in Temple
