Heart Attack Fatal to Arnold Reinkey

Arnold Reinkey, well-known farmer in this area, died suddenly at his home April 9 following a heart attack. His health had been failing since last fall but he ad been able to continue his many activities.

Arnold Clarence Reinkey, son of August and Mary Reinkey, was born in El Paso on March 11, 1897. With his parents he moved to the home farm near Rock Elm where he spent the rest of his life.

On May 10, 1922, he was united in marriage to Selma Hawn, and to them four children were born.

Mr. Reinkey was a member of the Rock Elm Methodist church and served on the board of trustees for several years. He was also a member of the school board. At the time of his death he was president of the Grange Hall Telephone company.

He always took an active interest in the Elmwood Cooperative Creamery and the Wisconsin Cooperative Dairies, Inc., following the consolidation. He was recently re-elected vice-president of the board of directors of the organization to which he had given 25 years of service.

He died at the age of 58 years and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife; one son, John, at home; three daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Glenn Nelson) of Spring Lake, Mildred (Mrs. Robert Reitz) of Milwaukee, and Patricia, at home Also surviving are one sister, Clara (Mrs. Frank Garfield) of Spring Valley, and three grandchildren, Greg, Carrie Jo and Ann Nelson, besides nieces, nephews and many other relatives and fiends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Rock Elm Methodist church with the Rev. O. M. Botts officiating. Interment was in Poplar Hill cemetery.
