Obituary: From the Grand Island, Daily Independent Friday Dec 23, 1921
Master Kenneth Manford Adams, aged 7 years 6 month and 19 days and son of Mr. and Mrs. David Adams, of Phillips, passed away at the home of his parents, Friday evening at 11 O’clock after a two week’s illness from acute Brights disease. Every effort possible to preserve his life was made by those attending him, but all such efforts proved futile. During his illness he was a most patient little sufferer.
Funeral services were conducted from the Phillips M. E. church on Sunday at 2:30 p. m. Rev. M. C. Smith officiating. Interment took place in the Phillips cemetery.
The sincere sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved ones in their sad loss.
