MYRA STEINER
Myra W. Steiner died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 93.
The longtime Chattanooga resident was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was also one of the original founders and directors of the Chattanooga Catholic charities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Steiner, and three children, Mary Ann Hendee, Catherine Steiner and Edward F. Steiner Jr.
Survivors include one son, Jack Steiner, Chattanooga; three daughters, Shirley Prey and Sue Payne, both of Chattanooga, and Carol Tubbs, Sevierville, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Ed Steiner and Rev.
George Schmidt officiating.
