Born April 14, 1911, in Hurricane, Utah, to Jedediah Grant and Susie Knapp Campbell. Married Pauline Geigle, May 3, 1937, in Salt Lake City. Worked as an Electronics Engineer for Varian Eimac for over 30 years. He attended the University of Utah and was awarded an engineering degree by his employer. Amateur radio operator. Member, LDS Church.
Survivors: wife, Pauline, son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Marsha Campbell, four grandchildren, Kari, April, Shaun and Jon Jon, all of Salt Lake City; preceded in death by his son, Jim Campbell.
Funeral services Friday at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, 11:00 a.m. where friends may call Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the services. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park.
