Born in Melborne to Henry and Maria Rosa Edwards Rushworth-She was married first at St Michael's Church, Highgate, England to William Walter Lyon 9/3/1872. They had five children with four surviving to maturity: Alice, Maude, Hilda and Henry. She was married secondly 11/27/1889 in Chicago to another Englishman, Ernest M. Flood. She and Ernest lived in St. Paul Minn. and Spokane, WA. There were no offspring from that marriage. According to a Lyon family bible she died of pneumonia following an attack of influenza. Her funeral was held on Jan. 26, 1908 at All Saints Cathedral conducted by Dean Alfred Lockwood.
