Helen May Ault, age 95, of Accident, MD, died Wednesday at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland, MD

Born May 21, 1916, in Accident she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Cora (Schlosnagle) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ault, Dec 7, 1958; one sister, Mary Miller Strauss; One brother Emmert Miller; one son-in-law Melvin Smith; and one great-grandson Jerod Minnick.

Mrs. Ault was a homemaker and a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School superintendent and teacher. She was also financial secretary for St.Paul's Lutheran Chruch, custodian for 60 years, and a caretaker for the St.Paul's Cemetery.
Helen worked for many years as the Accident town clerk. She was Valedictorina of her graduating class from Accident High School. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and was a role model for everyone.
She is survived by five daughters; Janet Campbell and husband Cecil of Cleveland, Ohio; Audrey Smith, Accident, Lorna Dixon and husband Gene Dixon, Minneapolis; Gladys Wilhide and husband Neal, Keymar; Patricia Foley and husband Larry, McHenry; two brothers Paul Miller of Accident and Robert Miller of Hebron; two sisters Gladys Wisowaty and Kathleen Smith both of Baltimore. 12 Grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held this Saturday, June 18, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. with Rev Roland E. Nairn III officiating.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Garrett County United Way.
