departed this life May 4th, 1871.
The deceased was born in Salem,
Washington county, N . Y., Feb. 16th,
1788, and was a daughter of Gen. Walter
Martin, founder and first resident
proprietor of Martinsburgh....
She was married to Mr. Leonard
December 11, 1806, and was a resident
of Lowville village from that date until
the time of her death.
