Harry Russell Ferrell, 47, 118 Lindell Drive, Yorktown, died Monday at Ball Hospital after having been ill for the past month. He was a native of Muncie and lifelong resident of Delaware County. He was a 1948 graduate of Central High School and was employed by Maxon Corp. Prior to his employment there he was employed by Ball Corp. for 10 years and was with Culligan Water Conditioning. He was a member of Moose Lodge No. 33 and was a former member of Kenny's Fun-time Square Dancers.

Surviving are his wife, Frances; three sons, Russell L. Ferrell, Florida, David and Jeffery Dean Ferrell, both at home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Linda Mills, Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Debra Anderson, New Castle; two brothers, Paul Ferrell, Selma, and Robert Ferrell, Olathe, Kan.; a stepbrother, Arthur Fisher, Muncie; his mother, Mrs. Eva Ferrell, Muncie; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Richard A. Veach officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
