Sarah Ann Little Dodsworth was the oldest daughter of Samuel W. and Matilda Smith Little. She moved with her family to Cedar County, Iowa before 1860. She was listed as the wife of Thomas C. Dodsworth in Dayton Township, Cedar County, Iowa in 1860. The family was listed in Ohio City in Franklin County, Kansas in 1865. Thomas & Sarah's children were listed in Kansas census reports as George W., Matilda (married Hamner,) Nellie (married Monninger,) Frank R., Retta, Annie, and Grace (married Rodgers.) T. C. Dodsworth died December 31, 1908 and is buried in Stanton Cemetery, Miami County, Kansas. Sarah eventually moved to California and lived with her son Frank R. Dodsworth (1869-1951) who was the father of F. Clifford Dodsworth. (According to his obituary, Frank R. Dodsworth was inurned at Park View Crematory in Stockton.) Sarah Ann Little Dodsworth was the grand-daughter of Benjamin Jackson Little, findagrave # 53666297.
