Ruth I. Tincher, 74, of Logansport, died at 12:52 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born July 19, 1936, in Monticello, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Mae Rice Spencer.

She married William "Bill" Tincher on July 19, 1954, in Monticello, and he died Jan. 23, 2007.

Mrs. Tincher lived in White County all her life and was a member of eagle Lodge Auxiliary 323 of Logansport. She enjoyed NASCAR and motorcycling in her younger years. She enjoyed angels, dancing, working in the yard and her grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Debra Widner (husband: Harry) of Logansport, Theresa Urick (husband: Mike) of Camden and Tamara J. Tincher of Monticello; three sons, Robert "Bob" Tincher (wife: Connie), Ed Tincher and Danny Tincher, all of Monticello; and two sisters, Faye Zarse of Brookston and Carol Johnson of Denver.

Services are Tuesday in Monticello.
