Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, in Pettett Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at Parrish Cemetery in Vergennes. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elkville State Bank, where a college fund has been established for his daughters, Katlyn and Cheyenne. Memorials will be accepted at the funeral home or at the bank.
Michael was born on June 20, 1977, in Peoria to Donald and Linda (Ludwig) Abbadusky.
He had worked as a tree trimmer for the power company and was a member of IBEW Local 702 in West Frankfort.
Mr. Abbadusky was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 975 in Dowell. Mike was an avid card player.
He married Cindy Hicks on Dec. 2, 1995, in Vergennes and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Katlyn and Cheyenne Abbadusky, both at home; his father Donald Abbadusky of Vergennes; and one sister; and brother-in-law, Michelle Watson; and her husband, Duke Watson of Murphysboro.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
