David Cromer Agner II, 14, of 413 Martin Ave., Graham died Wednesday at his home after a long illness.
He was a native of Alamance County and was Citizen of the Year in 1980 and 1981 representing the gifted and talented program at Graham Middle School.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Graham Wesleyan Church by the Rev. K. Wesley Albright. Burial will be in the State Road Primitive Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ruth Hamby Agner; his father, David Cromer Agner of Burlington; one sister, Ruth Marie Agner of the home, two brothers, Jeffrey Agner and Matthew Agner, both of the home; his grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Dan Hamby of Burlington and Mrs. Cromer F. Agner of Burlington.
