Jason Lee Littlecook was born June 7, 1979, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Warner Dave Littlecook and Ernestine (Impson) Littlecook. He passed from this life on July 7, 2011, at the age of 32 years and one month. Jason met his wife, Jennifer Pettit, in October of 2001. They married on July 5, 2008, at the Piney Creek Baptist Church in Stilwell, where Jason was also a member. Jason loved to play basketball and competed in many tournaments. He had a fun-loving nature and was always smiling. He was admired by his nieces, nephews, cousins and other children. Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Warner and Ernestine Littlecook; paternal grandparents, Warren Littlecook and Wanda Mae Waters; maternal grandparents, Marilyn Little and Dick Impson and one uncle, Teddy Youker. His surviving family includes his wife, Jennifer Littlecook, of the home and two brothers, Elton Ray Littlecook and his wife, Tina, David Finch and his wife, Tanya, all of Tahlequah; aunts, Phyllis Impson Aitson, of Anadarko, Karen Littlecook, Sandy Hinman and Tara Hinman, of Ponca City, and Teresa Zezuta, of Omaha, NE; uncles, Ray Hinman and Roy Hinman, of Ponca City and mother-in-law, Karen Daugherty, of Stilwell. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with David Wilson, David Walkingstick and Jim Forman officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Springs Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
