Born May 3, 1949 in Rome, NY. Passed peacefully in his sleep September 7, 2005 in his North Highlands home, at the young age of 56. Survived by his loving daughter, Jill (Eric); granddaughter, Miranda; grandsons, Taylor and Devin; mother, Mary; brothers, John, Mark (Patty), and Rick; sisters, Mary Ellen Landry (Whitey) and Sharon Ruberti (Bob), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Preceded in death by father, James McNamara, Sr. and sisters-in-law, Lillian and Thresa. Retired from Franchise Tax Board in 1986 after many years of state service. Everyone who knew and loved him will miss him dearly. A memorial mass will be held Friday, September 16 at 8:30am at St. Lawrence Church, 4325 Don Julio Blvd., North Highlands, with brunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Lombard & Company, 1550 Fulton Ave., Sacramento. Until we meet again.
