William and Edith were the parents of two children: Melvin William Deal born 2 July 1916, River Falls, Wisconsin and Charlotte Mary Deal, born 3 December 1934, Huntington Park, Los Angeles County, California, who married Robert J. Green.

Melvin passed away in Kingman Arizona and is buried in Arkansas.

Charlotte passed away 27 October 2012 in California and her burial location is unknown.
