UVALDA March 1–Mrs. Rebecca Barkley, 90, died here Sunday. She leaves two sons and five daughters, Mrs. Toinette McCune of Okanagon, Wash., Mrs. J.J. Moring and Mrs. S.L. Westbrook of Atmore, Ala., Mrs. A. Winfield of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. B.F. Hart of Uvalda, W.C. Barkley of Thomaston, Ala., and Joe H. Barclay of Centerline, Mich.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Baptist Church by her former pastor, the Rev. R.L. Robinson of Mt. Vernon and the Rev. Robert Smith, her pastor. Burial was in Uvalda Cemetery.
