J. Fred Cook, 69 years old, died suddenly Sunday afternoon of a heart attack. Cook had been visiting friends and was returning to his home when stricken. When found he was sitting by the roadside apparently asleep.
Mr. Cook is survived by five children: Chas Cook, of the county; Alonzo Cook, of Sturgis; James Cook, of Detroit; Gleaford Cook, of Evansville, and Mrs. Mamie Postlethwaite, of Marion.
