Madge was the seventh of ten children born to William Causey Sr. and Margaret Lou (Kivett) Henson. She married John Roy Nelson and they had four children: Barry, Margaret, Andy and Lou.

ASHEBORO - Madge Lenora Henson Nelson, 86, of 230 E. Presnell St., Asheboro, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at Asheboro Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, Greensboro, with the Rev. Nellie Bescher officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens.
She was a native of Randolph County and a past member of First Baptist Church, Greensboro.
Surviving are daughters, Margaret Parker and Lou Mercil; son, Andy Nelson; sister, Margaret Robertson.
The family will be at the funeral home 1-2 p.m. before the service.
