Educator. Ms. Parker Enjoyed a teaching career that spanned more than 50 years. Some of her favorite things in life included travel, gardening, and bridge. Her favorite color was red. Like her mother, Frances Parker, she too was heavily involved in local community affairs, and spearheaded many civic initiatives. She died of heart failure following a brief illness in the summer of '87.
