Roy Kenneth Moore, 75, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, in Lebanon.

He was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Laclede County, Mo. to Roy and Ruby Waterman Moore, who preceded him in death.

He also was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Poynter; two brothers, Scotty Joe and Johnny Lee Moore; two sisters, Virginia Ann Moore and Freida May Harenza, and a brother-in-law, Bobby Ripley.

On June 15, 1982, he married Kathy Woodard.

He was a truck driver and a member of Phillipsburg Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy, of the home; a son, James Kenneth "Bud'' Moore, of Lebanon; three daughters, Pamela Middleton and husband, Jerry, and Kathy Christine "Chrissy'' Poynter, all of Lebanon, and Sally Escarcega and husband, Ernie, of Glendale, Ariz.; a sister, Dixie Ripley, of Eldridge; nine grandchildren, Alex and Kyle Poynter, Courtney and Jeff Brent, Kristene and Ryan Moore, Caleb and Nathan Poynter, Madison Reed, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Roy Kenneth Moore will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with Roger Tribble officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park, under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.

Memorials have been suggested to be made to either the Project 25:35, St. John's Hospice or missions Phillipsburg Christian Church.
