James Wesley (went by Wesley) Culler was the second of ten known children of James Allen Culler (1821-1872) and Charity Booze (1814-1891), who married 14 Jun 1845 at Stokes County, North Carolina.

Wesley married Louise Catherine Holder (1846-1930) on November 19, 1871 in Forsyth County, North Carolina. Wesley and Louise were the parents of six known children, namely:

- Augusta Isabel Holder Butner (1866-1941)
1. David Marcellen Culler (1874-1951)
2. William Oliver Culler (1875-1952)
3. Sallie Estelle Culler Styers (1877-1937)
4. Amanda Elizabeth Culler Grimes (1880-1951)
5. Stephen Victor Culler (1884-1915)
6. Pearl Jessie Culler Fishel (1887-1981)

I assume that Augusta was born out of wedlock to Louise.

Links to Wesley's parents, wife, all six of his known children and eight of his nine known siblings are included below.
