Virginia married Leslie Wayne Bueghly on April 21, 1935 in Marshalltown, IA. Together they had 4 children: Peggy, Vicki Sue, Nancy, and Darlene Kay.
OBITUARY:
Virginia Bueghly, 94, of Sawyer, Michigan died Monday afternoon, April 13, 2009 surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was born September 28, 1914 in Sawyer to Bud H. and Pearl (Peck) Keith. She graduated from New Troy High School in 1932. On Easter Sunday, April 21, 1935, she married Leslie Wayne Bueghly in Marshalltown, Iowa. They were married for 63 years when he preceded her in death on June 27, 1998. Virginia was an avid golfer and enjoyed working in her yard and tending her flowers. Most of all she loved and cherished her family.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Jerry) Schaffer of Sawyer; Vicki Sue (Terry) Metzger of Buchanan; Nancy (Matthew) Caid of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Gary, Gregg, David, Doug, Jeff, Julie, Billy, Casey, and Colby; great grandchildren Arron, Josh, Micah, Emma, Lindsey, Andrew, Jenna, Alicia, Sophia, Spencer, Hannah, Wil and Eli. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her young daughter, Darlene Kay Bueghly.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Christian United Church of Christ, 5712 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, Michigan with the Reverend Ralph Unruh officiating. A time of fellowship will follow in the church hall.
Memorials may be made to the Christian United Church of Christ, PO Box 275, Sawyer, MI 49125 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
