Nancy Jane Bell
Wellman - Nancy Jane Bell, 82, a former Wellman resident, died at Sigourney hospital Monday after a lingering illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. John E. Bell and Rev. Max Yoder.
Mrs. Bell was born Oct. 1, 1889 near North English, the daughter of Jacob E. and Isabelle Wilkenson Hubbell. She was married on Dec. 25, 1905 to John W. Bell at Kinross. The couple lived in Iowa County and later in Wellman and Sigourney. She was a member of the Mennonite Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd of Lisbon and George of Sigourney, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Lavanda) Fabor of Marengo; 21 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her death were her husband in 1967, one son, one grandson, six grandchildren, a sister and four brothers.
