Robert "Bob" Gregg Nalley passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2011 at home. He was born October 24, 1934 in Lovell, Wy., He grew up in Billings, Montana and graduated from Billings Seniour High School in 1961. He served in the Marine Corps from 1962 to 1968.
Bob moved to Yuma in May 1968 and for 30 years worked for many of the automobile dealerships in Sales and 8 years at Yuma Regional Medical Center before retiring. In the summer Bob and his wife enjoyed traveling in their RV, but in the winter you would find Bob out flying his R/C airplane until the sun was down. It gave him great joy building and flying but the most joy came from talking to other R/C pilots. He was a wonderful husband, a great "Dad" and friend to all and he will be missed, but never forgotten….until we meet again.
Bob was a member of the Yuma Masonic Lodge # 17 F. & A.M. and a member of the AMA and Yuma Aeromodeler's Club.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert Paul and Florence Estell Nalley.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, of 42 years, Pam; his sons Rob Nalley of Yuma, Steve (Laura) Sullivan of Surprise, Az, Gregg (Nancy) Laridis of Flagstaff, Az.; daughters, Brenda (James) Ford of Scottsdale, Az. and Bobbie Sue Laridis of Melford, Mass.; 14 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 2, 2011 between 10am and 2pm with the Memorial service at 11am. Casa Manana Clubhouse 2164 S Camino Barranca. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Yuma.
