Beverly J. Sage CROFTON ? Beverly J. Sage, 72, Crofton, died June 18, 2006, at the Bloomfield Good Samaritan Center, Bloomfield. Visitation will be June 21, from 3-8 p.m., with a prayer service and video tribute at 7 p.m., at the Wintz Funeral Home, Crofton. Funeral Services will be June 22, at 10:30 a.m., at the United Church of Christ Congregational, Crofton, with the Rev. Les Parmenter officiating. Burial will be at the Crofton City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bruce Sage, Roger Sage, Darrell Sage, Doyle Sage, Jody Sage, Jeff Sage, Dale Sage and Danny Sage. Honorary pallbearers will be Donna Evans, Delores Watkins, Diane Sage, Darlene Florke, Dawn Coughlin, Karen Abbott, Norma Kuehler and Nancy Wollman. Beverly Jean Sage was born May 11, 1933, in Yankton, S.D. She grew up in the Lindy and Niobrara area. She married George L. "June" Sage Jr. June 23, 1951, in Vermillion, S.D. George died Sept. 20, 1999, at the age of 71. Beverly babysat in Crofton for several families and worked for Dr. Swift. She worked at the cafe in Crofton for Margie Ehlers and also worked at Bogner's Steakhouse, Crofton for 15 years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational and its Ladies Aide group. She liked to work crossword puzzles, embroider, and collect bells. She enjoyed TV game shows and her grandchildren. Survivors include two children, a son, Bill Sage, Crofton; a daughter, Marilyn and husband, Jerry Nelson, Crofton; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan, and Morgan Nelson, Crofton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George "June" Sage; and twin sister, Betty Sage.
