He was born in New York state to Frederick and Minnie Hitchkiss Patrick.
Following retirement in 1973 as a group leader with the Bendix Corp. in Sidney, NY, he moved from Unadilla, NY to Klamath Falls.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Janice Patrick, Klamath Falls; Jerry and Barbara Patrick, Schenectady, NY; a daughter, Rosie Potter, Sidney, NY; brother, Jay Patrick, Sidney; Joseph Patrick, South Unadilla; Jim Patrick, Wells Bridge, NY; and Donald Birdsall; a sister, Cereta Bowers, Oxford, NY; 11 grandchildren in Klamath Falls and New York and two great-grandchildren in New York; also sumerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella; a brother, LeRoy Patrick; two sisters, Josephine Patrick and Anna Cornell; and a granddaughter, Lisa Dawn Patrick.
