She is the daughter of Charles E. & Nellie Hollis Levell, born in Crawford County, In. on April 29, 1921.
Survivors included her husband, Charles E. Ballard, Jr.; a son, Michael Ballard, of Louisville, Ky.; two daughters, Carolyn Roper, of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Delores Conrad, of French Lick, In.; a brother, Clark Levell, of Corydon; three sisters, Mary E. Lenfert, of Louisville, Ky., Annabell Williams, of New Salisbury, In., and Emma Jean LeMay, of Clarksville, In.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, In., with burial in the El Bethel Cemetery.
