He was born in Aberdeen on August 6, 1955, to F.O. Boyd Jr and Mildred West Boyd.
Eddie attended Amory Schools.
He was a Member of New Hope Methodist Church.
He worked in the Sawmill prior to becoming disabled.
Eddie had a Love for his Family, Animals and Music, especially playing the Piano.
Graveside Services will be 3 p.m. today at Durrett Cemetery in Quincy with Bro. Mac Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow.

He is survived by Brother, Donald Boyd and Wife, Brenda, of Amory; his Nephew, Brad Boyd of Saltillo; his Niece, Niki Boyd Zemnes and Husband, Les, of Birmingham; Great Nephews, Blake and Braden Boyd and Harrison Zemnes; and Special Friend, Mae Robertson of Aberdeen.
In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother, David Boyd.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at the Funeral Home with procession to the Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Amory Humane Society, P.O. Box 660, Amory, MS 38821.
