Craig was a huge contributor to Find-A-Grave (#46771424 Craig's contributor page )
and helped many, many people discover their loved ones' headstones. We all will miss his zeal and enthusiasm for his research. May you rest in the Lord, Craig!

His parents were Fred E. Rohrer and Helen Weatherbee Rohrer. His surviving siblings are Rev. Gene Rohrer of Columbia City, Indiana, and Sue (Rohrer)Mayberry of Hammond, Indiana. Other surviving family members are nieces Jenny Mayberry and Julie (Mayberry) Campbell, Alice (Rohrer)Campbell, Mary Rohrer, Carol (Rohrer) Ryles, nephew Jim Rohrer, and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a great-niece, Madison Campbell. Craig grew up in Downers Grove, IL and graduated high school there. He went on to Southern Illinois University where he got a Masters Degree in Psychology in Guidance and Testing. After graduation he enlisted in the army as we were involved in Viet Nam at the time, just starting the conflict. He was in the First Cavalry 2nd Medical Battalion as a First LT. He was really respected by his men as he never wanted them to do something he would not do himself. Not long ago he was telling his sister of walking in a native village surrounded by kids (you can understand that one!!) and how much he loved them. He would take picture of them and give the pictures to the parents. He received many awards but the only one his sister can remember right now is the Bronze Star. He loved flea marketing and was a noted book dealer for quite some time. He was a 3rd degree Mason, and a member of the American Legion as well as a member of St Luke Community Church in North Judson, IN. He was a gentle man. He did not fit the molds people want to put onto other people - always an individual. Before moving to North Judson, IN, he taught in Downers Grove, IL for years.
