Rites For Mrs. Win, G. Waddel Held Wednesday Of Last Week Funeral services were held Wednesday of last week at the Adaville United Brethren church for Mrs. W. G. Waddel, of Webster, S.D., a former resident of. Plymouth county, Rev. Talbott, the pastor, officiating, Interment was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Adaville, Mrs. Waddel died May 19, 1939, at the home of her son, Kenneth, in San Diego, Calif., after an illness of four months.
Eliza M. Otis was born March 14, 1873. Her parents who came from Illinois, were early settlers in western Plymouth county. She was married to William Waddel in 1901 at Vermillion, S.D., and they subsequently lived in Union county, S, D., and at Webster.
She is survived by her sons, Sterling, of Luverne, Minn.; Garner, of Webster, S.D.; Kenneth, of San Diego, Calif. Harold, of Vermillion, S, D., and Clayton, of Webster.
Mrs. Waddel was a woman of many graces and accomplishments. In her younger days she taught at the Erick son school, near Westfield, and is well remembered among older residents.
