He was united in marriage to Hattie Kirpatrick June 8 1904. To this union one child was born, Bertha May Wallace, the present deputy-county recorder.
He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, Hattie Wallace, his daughter, Bertha May Wallace, three sisters and other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the Stewart Funeral Home Friday afternoon, conducted by Reverend Rayhill, pastor of the M.E. church. Burial was in the Leon cemetery.
