Ida May Guynup Drummond
Graveside services for Ida May Drummond, 89, of Nampa, who died Tuesday, July 10, at her home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Jerry White, pastor of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.
Friends may meet at the cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mrs. Drummond was born Dec. 4, 1894, in Cass Township, Ohio, where she was reared and educated. She worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell Telephone Co. at Cleveland for more than 30 years. After retiring in 1955 she moved to Nampa to live near her cousin, Mrs. Geneva Bittleston. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Retirees and a former member of the Snake River Stampeders Riding Club.
She is survived by four cousins, Mrs. Geneva Bittleston, Nampa; Mrs. Alice Jacobs, Bellville, Ohio; Mrs. Grace Schlereth, Shelby, Ohio and William Mumau, Sandusky, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Esther M. Drummond on March 10, 1983.
