Joy Marie Howard Baskett, 76, Niagara, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at her home.

She was a member of Niagara United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lillian Howard.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Tom Clay Baskett; three daughters, Rita Parker of Henderson, Joy Gail Gish of Niagara, and Debbie Lincoln of North Lawrence, N.Y.; two sons, Ted Baskett of Niagara and Tommy Baskett of Poole; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. John Conn will officiate. Burial will be at Nunn Family Cemetery in Niagara.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Henderson County Diabetes Coalition.

Pallbearers will be Chad Parker, Scott Baskett, Brian Baskett, Chris Gish, Teddy Baskett, Brad Lincoln, Drew Lincoln, and Wes Lincoln.

Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters.
