Ruhl L. Kluczinske, 57, of Rt. 1, Cato, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Lutze will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Kluczinske was born Aug. 17, 1915, at Manitowoc, son of the late Leopold and Clara Krahn Kluczinske. He was employed at Invincible Metal Furniture Co. and later as superintendent of Northwestern Asbestos and Cork Insulation Co.

He married Ruth Underberg Sept. 28, 1940, at Manitowoc, and the couple established residency in the city. Mr. Kluczinske was a veteran of World War II, serving as private first class in the 637th T.D. Battalion from Nov. 27, 1944, to Oct. 24, 1946. He was a member and past president of the Manitowoc Camera Round Table Club, member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, past chairman of the Manitowoc County Historical Society and member of the State Historical Society.

Survivors include his wife, a son; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Walters and Mrs. Ralph Struss, of Manitowoc; and two grandchildren. A son, William, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday until noon Friday and then at the church until the time of service.
