Our loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, Earl Gordon Bain, age 88, passed away peacefully after a short illness with his family at his side.

Earl was born August 18, 1911 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Angus M. and Martha Lloyd Bain. He married Lora Thomas in the Salt Lake Temple on August 5, 1933. She preceded him in death. He married Geneve R. Buys, July 22, 1989 in Salt Lake City. Earl loved family, golf, and dancing. He was a retired employee of Mountain Fuel.

He is survived by his wife, Geneve; and his children, Bonnie (Robert) Robison, Robert (Emma) Bain, Susan (Wayne) Nielsen, Cherie Barnes, all of Salt Lake City, and Carol (Gary) Mortensen of Wolf Creek, Oregon; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Five step children, Marlene (Jerry) Pulsipher; Joe (Saundra) Buys, both of Salt Lake City, D'Anne (Ed) Tonn, New Berlin, Wisconsin; Jim (Carole) Buys, Colleyville, Texas; Ronda (Bruce) Lee, Strasburg, Colorado; 20 step grandchildren and

eight step great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and four sisters; Roland Bain, Norma Stoddart, Doris Richins, Esther Harley, and June Moser, all of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lloyd Bain; and sisters, Muriel and

Martha.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2000, Tooele 14th Ward Chapel located at 192 West 2nd South at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Tate Mortuary, 110 So Main St. Tooele, Friday

evening 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the Church. Interment at Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City.
