One of three children(youngest) born to Clem and Matilda Meisman Stroot. Verona Stroot(1922-2004) was the eldest and sister. Harold Stroot(1924-2013) was his older brother.
He has four offspring with his wife, Sandra Chandler Stroot; one of which preceded him in death.
