Herman Abraham, 77, died suddenly early Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 1944, at his home on the Ontario Center Road. While not in the best of health, his death was entirely unexpected by his family. Mr. Abraham was born October 23, 1866, in Germany and came to America when he was 18 years of age, settling near Victor. He was united in marriage
to Miss Eureka Bauer May 1, 1895, and they have lived in their present farm home for 39 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by eight children, Miss Minnie and Isaac, at home, Miss Freda, Carl and John of Farmington, Mrs. Lena Breemes of Marion, Mrs. Edna Hoffman, Macedon, R. D., Mrs Edith Shaner of Palmyra; four grandchildren, Thelma and Elsie Hoffman, Roger Shaner and Leonard Breemes; one brother, Henry of Fairport. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the home, Rev August P. Kreutz of St. John's Lutheran Church, Farmington, officiating. Burial was in Macedon Center Cemetery.
