Mrs. Charlotte L. Henriques 47, of 4 angel Ave. Shelton, passed away on Saturday at Griffin Hospital. She was taken there after she was found ill at her house.

She was the widow of Samuel Henriques. Mrs. Henriques was born in Beacon Falls, June 13, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Millicent ( Chase ) Stevens. She had been a resident of Shelton since 1949.

She was employed in the laundry department of the griffin Hospital. Mrs henriques was a member of the Shelton Congregational Church, the Woman's Auxillary of Sutter-Terizzi Post, American legion and the Coram Gardens Civic Association. She conducted classes in ceramics at her home.

This was in my grandmothers obituary.
